Agreement to these terms

By downloading, installing, or using TruMile (“the app”), you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app does

TruMile is a mileage tracking app for iPhone. It helps you:

• Record trips and calculate distance using GPS
• Classify trips as business, personal, medical, or charitable
• Calculate deductions using IRS standard mileage rates
• Generate mileage reports
• Track vehicle expenses, fuel purchases, and maintenance

Subscriptions and payments

Free and paid tiers. TruMile is free for up to 40 automatically detected trips a month, every month. TruMile Pro removes that cap and adds multiple vehicles, PDF reports, expense tracking, Bluetooth vehicle detection, and iCloud sync.

Billing.Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID account. They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Price changes. We may change prices. A change never affects the period you have already paid for; it applies at renewal, and we give notice through the app or the App Store.

Refunds. Apple processes every purchase. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's refund policy.

Your responsibilities

• Enter accurate trip and vehicle information
• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Do not reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the app
• Do not use the app while driving or in any way that endangers anyone
• Verify mileage calculations and deductions with a qualified tax professional

Tax disclaimer

TruMile is a tracking tool, not tax advice. We work to use current IRS rates and accurate math, but you are solely responsible for confirming that your trips qualify, keeping adequate records, consulting a qualified tax professional about your situation, and filing an accurate return. We do not guarantee that any calculation will be accepted by the IRS or any other tax authority.

Location services

TruMile uses your device's location services to record trips. By granting location permission you acknowledge that GPS accuracy varies with device, environment, and conditions; that recorded distances are estimates and may differ from actual distances; and that background location tracking uses battery.

Intellectual property

TruMile and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by Oro Labs and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, that distance calculations will be completely accurate, that the app will meet your specific requirements, or that data will never be lost or corrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oro Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or records, inaccurate mileage calculations, denied tax deductions, or any damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the modified terms. We give notice of significant changes through the app or the App Store, and the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
