Auto-detection that catches every drive
TruMile detects business drives in the background using motion plus location plus speed. The detection runs on Apple's lowest-power location APIs, so battery drain stays in single-digit-percent territory on a normal day.
Smart classification you control
A three-tier cascade decides which trips are business: an on-device ML model (Pro) at 85%+ confidence first, then saved routes, then pattern learning over repeat drives. Anything ambiguous goes to one-tap manual review. You can override any classification at any time. Nothing is locked.
Auto-tracking that's contemporaneous by construction
Every trip is timestamped at the moment it happens. That makes the resulting log a "contemporaneous" log, the kind the IRS expects to see in an audit. Reconstructed logs lose deductions; auto-tracked logs hold up.
IRS-ready exports
One tap turns your year's mileage into a CSV, PDF, or summary report formatted for Schedule C. Hand it to your accountant or paste the numbers into your filing.
Multi-jurisdiction support
US (IRS), Canada (CRA tiered rates), UK (HMRC AMAP rates), Australia (ATO cents-per-km with the 5,000 km cap). The right rate applies based on your settings.
On-device classification
Trips classify on your iPhone, not in our cloud. Your location history never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export it.
CSV import from any tracker
