For small business owners
Clean mileage records for every business mile.
Trades, mobile services, real estate, consulting — if you run a small business with field-based work, your mileage deduction is one of the largest expenses on your Schedule C. Tracking it right matters.
What small businesses need
- Audit-defensible logs. Contemporaneous mileage records that hold up in IRS audits, with the four required fields per trip (date, destination, business purpose, miles).
- Multi-vehicle support. If you own a work truck and a personal car, both can be tracked separately, with their own business-use percentages and odometer readings.
- Easy year-end exports. One tap produces a CSV or PDF formatted for Schedule C. Hand it to your accountant or paste the totals directly.
- Reasonable price. $7.99/month or $59.99/year for unlimited tracking. No surprise renewals at higher prices.
A note on team / fleet use
TruMile today is built for solo and small-business owner-operators. We are not a multi-driver fleet management tool. If you have multiple drivers under W-2 or 1099 who each need their own tracker installed, each driver downloads TruMile separately and tracks on their own device. Larger fleet management features (centralized admin dashboards, FAVR plan management) are not part of TruMile's scope today.
